Majlise Ulama Shia Europe organised 2nd Teacher Training Course

Majlise Ulama Shia Europe organised 2nd Teacher Training Course at Jamia tul Muntazir Manchester on Saturday 17th March 2013.

 50 teachers and assistant teachers attended the course.Majority of participants were females.

 We appreciate arrangements and support of management of Jamia tul Muntazir who provided best of the facilities and food and refreshments to the participants.

 Course was opened by Tilawat Quran and welcome speech by Dr Syed Abbas Naqvi,Secretary Education MUS.Molana Naqvi explained the contents and topics of 7 books which have been published by MUS for Madressa Students.

10.00 to 10.30 am –  Reception, Tea & Introduction
10.30 to 11.00 am – Welcome and introduction of 7 Madressa Syllabus books.( Dr Naqvi)
 11.00 to 11.40 am – Lecture (Sister Amina Raza Sheikh) –  How we Learn and Learning Styles, Classroom Management &       Lesson Planning
  11.45 to 12.30 pm – Lecture (Br. Raza Hussain Syed-  What makes a good teacher & duties of a teacher?
  12.30 to 13.00 pm – Lecture (Maulana Syed Najamul Hassan Naqvi-  Educational system of Islam)
13.00 to 14.00 PM – Break for Salat & Dinner

14.00 to 14.40 pm – Lecture (Mr Ali Asad Kanji-  ”Achieving  benchmarks in mainstream lesson delivery”)

14.45 to 15.30 pm – Lecture (Sheikh Mohammad  Zakaria- Philosophy behind Education in Islam)

     15.30 to 16.00 pm – Closing Speech.(President-MUS- HIWM Syed Ali Raza Rizvi   MUS president speech was live from London .
Participants were happy for this new role of MUS which is addressing educational issues of young generation.
