(“Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return”)

Majlis e Ulama Shia Europe, who is a representative body of Shia Muslims in UK  and Europe, strongly condemn the targeted bomb blast in Rawalpindi outside Imambargah Aun Mohammad Rizvi killing 8 Shia Muslims and injuring 16 people.

The bomb blast happened in Rawalpindi outside Imambargah Aun Mohammad Rizvi.  The Momineen were celebrating the birth anniversary of Hazrat Mohammad (P.B.U.H), and Imam Jafar-e-Sadiq (A.S) on Friday night when the bomb blast happened.   This was a crime and an act of terrorism carried out by extremist terrorists groups which does not in any way correspond to Islamic principles and jurisdiction. This crime shows the barbarism and criminal attitude of the armed extremist terrorists group, they have no human values & they commit these lowly acts/crimes in the name of religion.

We demand the government of Pakistan to stop theses terrorist attacks on innocent civilian population by the terrorist organisations.  The Pakistani government must arrest the terrorist and their supporters.  The terrorist who have been given their death sentence from the military courts should be implemented fully and immediately.

We ask the whole Muslim community & Human Rights organisations all over the world to play a part by using official channels to condemn the targeted bomb blast in Rawalpindi outside Imambargah Aun Mohammad Rizvi.

Our thoughts go out to the family of the martyrs and we pray that the Almighty gives them patience to overcome their grief.
