Paris Terror Attacks – press statement
Majlis-e-Ulama Shia (M.U.S) is shocked and saddened at the recent horrific killings in Paris. The majlis strongly condemn these acts of terrorism unleashed on the innocent people of Paris and also the recent deadly attacks in Ankara, Beirut, Burma & all over the world.
This attack is being claimed by the group calling themselves ‘Islamic State’. There is nothing Islamic about such people and their actions are evil and outside the boundaries set by the true Islam.
Yet again we see terrorists looking to divide our communities.
Majlis e ulama shia Europe believes “These henious killers do not represent Islam nor speak on behalf of Muslims. The majlis condemn in the strongest possible terms all acts of terrorism, hate & violence irrespective of who & where they are committed.”
We must all remain united and resolute in these difficult times.
Our thoughts and condolences go out to all those affected and their families during this very difficult period.
